There's this book like Zen in the art of motorcycle repair where I think this like math professor goes and he just has a good time in repairing these motorcycles. He says that as we locate what we make call vocational careers, manufacturing industry, working with your hand etc,. as that has become a steadily smaller percentage of overall employment., I think it lends people to to romanticizing it.
