Octavia's husband Marcelus dies in May 40 BCE. She is credited with interceding for people who are going to have their land taken away by trying to beg for mercy for them. Mark Antony doesn't have to be divorced in order for this marriage to take place because his wife Fulvia had conveniently died the same year, I think probably by natural causes as well.
