Quicksand - A Force of Chaos

Quicksand is being used as a really simple writing device, a paint by number's writing device. If you've got a mad story and you want it to seem like it's making sense, you use this exact writing device. It makes us feel like detectives good writin because it never fully tells you the story. And it presents you with questions so that you're also solving the story in your own head. That's what cheko's gun is. You introduce a random object or thing or character at the very start of something, then you never mention it again, and at the end, comes back and completes your story.
