What Has It Been Like Living in the Eye of the Storm?
It's been pretty much ceaseless honking blaring of car and lorry horns for about three weeks. The protesters have been outside my flat day after day, screaming freedom into mega phones. Vot as been exhausting, dispiriting. Very frustrating. It ceased to be a protest on about da two, and it came an occupation. Local politicians, provincial politicians, have called it a siege. I think that's fair, until, you know, the police crack down.
