How to Use Dice Pools to Generate Random Encounters

Some of these ideas came from the Slightflares discord server, where we talked to folks of different backgrounds to try to get ideas for how to bring better representation into our games. Bug Bane says he was wondering if you thought about adding countdown dice pools or roles to the generation of random encounters level up advanced by V and Goblin Punch. Both have systems that sound great. I think Goblin Punch's method sounds better due to the inevitability of encounters. What are your thoughts?
