The Role of Technology in the Global Race

In a country like China, that distinction is sometimes harder to tell because companies can often be state-owned. But in a country that is a democracy, say the United States, that distinction then sort of becomes a bit more clear where companies have more autonomy. As we've seen the geopolitical tensions heat up between the US and China, obviously that's led to big moves in Washington and Beijing to start to calibrate some of those US-China tech ties.
