Sauron Never Touched the Elven Rings, Right?
As soon as Galadriel said, I need to get him to Lindon. That's when you're like, oh, that's the way they're going to go with that. There is absolutely no reason to get him there unless he needs Elvish medicine which is not clear from anything we see on the wound. He does know they're making the rings, but his magic, his dark malice never touched them. So Sauron is potentially- Which, for why though? He was there, right? He just decided to piece out in the show.
