The Cost of a Wrapper Hell

This wrapper hell started to make TypeScript really difficult. You had this like tree of function calls and you had to align the types basically for no reason. The last thing that wasn't, I don't think was top of mind for the react team because they just don't care about this particularly. So instead of a component rendering UI, it just calls a function with the values that it's trying to provide. That felt kind of awkward to them. We'll see about a being worth the cost.
