In the last five years, there are five punchas. The excise department says that there is no doubt that consumption of liquor has gone down in these patcils. Even though people have to go much further to buy their liquor. It does not criminalize the possession or consumption of alcohol. It just simply stops liquor sales in one particular geographical area. And that helps. It doesn't solve the problem altogether, but it certainly helps and creates an atmosphere where focus is put on the problems of alcoholism. If it weren't to work, women themselves may be abul to say 'to hell with this method'
