The Argument That Kiel Is Making Is a Logical Move

The argument that you make in order to absorb the phenomenon into your own subjective experience is an argument that if you follow its logic, will extend to all things. The fact that I'm in this state of mind when I see x does not mean that x did not exist before I entered that state of mind. That's the classic Berkeley move. It's that experience equals existence. Now- Sure. But you don't need to avert to any kind of comprehensive idealism to note that the phenomenon very often consists of messages for individual people like what the fuck is a synchronicity. And so the arguments that we can make about ordinary matter amount to basically the position that I know you hate
