Is God's Judgment a Good Thing?

i find myself more shocked to day by gods patience than the fact taan how got how do don't you think, for for modern americans who are offended by the idea of divine judgment. Who would want judgment? You see, to me began it seems like, well, that's just an attack on my comfortable existence. So it is a mean, vengeful right? God? Right?
