Is There a Watershed Moment in Software Technology?

Peter Reinhardt: I think in 2018, the IPCC report that showed that we were going to overshoot and needed, you know, 10 billion tons of removal by 2050. That was a watershed moment for a bunch of people of getting into the space; stripe kind of started doing their thing. He says climate has become a lot more urgent,. uh, and sort of raised its, raised its profile. Reinhardt: There's a lot to be optimistic about in terms of solving some of the key challenges with industrial decarbonization and carbon removal.
