The Future of Data Science

Data science is following in a kind of similar pattern to a lot of technical disciplines that have evolved over the course of the last 20 years. I think there will continue to be a kind of splintering and, and fanning out of specialization within the kinds of roles that ultimately are important for businesses to get right. The discipline itself is still mostly made up of being able to ask the right questions, identify the right data and apply the right method.
