How to Visualize a Tiger

In the mid twentieth century, there was a general scepticism about the whole idea of a mental image. When we reflect on how many windows there are in our own home, it's quite difficult to get an accurate mental representation that way. Another criticism of this line of thinking is that any visualization that we do is incredibly imprecise.
