The History of Slavery
Yes, there are still rednecks who hate blacks and fringe groups that preach the tenets of white supremacy. But these are not cultural institutions; they have little moral influence. What about our history? Our history of slavery isn't all that a sign of institutionalized racism. Know exactly the opposite. A country can offer no greater repudiation of the evil of slavery than to go to war to eliminate it.
