The book I brought up from my downstairs bookshelf was written in the 70s. It's called The Emerging Japanese Superstate. And he wrote this book about how Japan, which whose economy was really strong at the time, was basically going to emerge as a world power. He just turned out to be totally wrong. China is certainly not like, there's lots of weaknesses in its economy that we don't hear so much about. But who knows?
