Ariana: Focusing on competence, focusing on values to society and what we assess is key. She says there's a lot to be said about the values that they hold. For example, assessing for growth and valuing growth are all very critical components of what I'd love for those dabbling in assessment or those thinking about it to consider. The limited, very limited work that we currently have on what makes for equitable assessment is the other place that I would really want to underscore and emphasize and encourage others to think about that as well.
