Abstainers: A Conversation With Minorities

BIPOC people are pushing back on this. A person of color who was an eminent researcher in Canada, his research is in something to do with lasers and uranium processing, like high-tech stuff. He went public because he couldn't get funding for his lab if he signed a diversity statement that said how my research would help black people or whatnot. So it's minorities themselves,. people who have a lot more moral capital than you or me because they're not white and they're entrepreneurs, they're scientists saying, this is hurting my field.
