Lisfenga the timeshore is a very layered game once you move out of the era that it came in and realize like this isn't nearly as progressive. It's hack and slash but with a tactical twist to it so when you approach essentially a battlefield in the area you have these different enemies everyone's standing still. You basically set it up so you have these copies of yourself running through combat and then you finish it as your real self. The point is there are enemies as you progress and even my recontextualize the mechanics is my favorite shtick of any game i think more so than adding new abilities, what makes me enjoy video games is core design.
