I was in love with science fiction as a kid, there was something about the dream quality of it. I didn't turn to science fiction, I went away from it, it's very different. For me when I make a movie there's a lot of deep joy, pain, anger, length with the process. It takes me years before I'm able to watch it again and to see the movie for what it is to be.
