Hedge Funds - What Makes or Breaks Your Fund?
The auspicious or serendipity of time when you launch versus your strategy and how well you do in the first two years. Maybe what makes or breaks your fund. And especially if you're like me and you're launching a long volatility fund in April 17th of 2020, it's not gonna be a good start. So there are a couple of drivers when it comes to like, how much of an impact this can have. I think there's only three papers in the world that have ever been written on this and I'm co-author on two of them.
