What Is Moderate Alcohol Consumption?

In the US, a standard drink is about 10 grams of alcohol. Anything below that is considered not heavy and it's called modest drinking. More than 14 drinks in a week or more than 21 in a week are 'heavy' Drinking too much alcohol can have negative effects on the body even at lower doses.
