How to Survive a Teacher's Retirement

I don't think that it was an idea we ever had. I didn't ever have any intentions on staying home. But having a child actually changed my mind once he was here. We try to harvest enough deer every year to supplies for meat for the year. And then we raise a bigger garden than we used to. So we're doing a lot of food preservation from that as well. My husband is a woodworker, a leather worker. So we try to build and do as much as we can.
