The Role of Academic Advising in Student Engagement

A lot of my research stems from the relationships that I've formed with the three of them but in different contexts and so academic advising has become a I guess or anchor of my work more so now. All of my work by and large looks at students of color racialized identities and how they make meaning of themselves as holistic people. How do we humanize these practices of advising leadership and then socialization to make them be seen in the broader landscape as holistic individuals that are learning growing and developing in different spaces.
