The Importance of Trading Exotic Products
I would argue that traders and exotic products are more less than quants. So, we're talking about derivatives mostly options but instead of taking sort of plain vanilla calls and puts you go one step higher. And then you also structure them in the this note, which is like an investable, well, almost like a bond which pays a coupon,. But on top of that it has these various different features of you know option features where something knocks in or knocks out or gets paid before maturity. Yeah.
