Labor's Election to Lose
Labor has been ahead for more than a year now, and the poles have had plenty of time to learn whatever lessons they needed to absorb from their 20 19 loss. So it does seem in a lot of ways, like this is labor's election to lose. I don't think it's a dead heat by any means, but i think it is now close enough that the amartan government can't be ruled out. The thing i would also say is that if a number of these independents get elected, even if labor really doesn't make any other progress, that will make it very hard for the government to continue.
