The Importance of Protecting the Desert

The Sonoran desert, for example, is considered the most biodiverse desert in the world. The amounts of plants and animals were enough to sustain entire populations of people as well in the past. So it is definitely worth protecting these and every single desert because sometimes as we might not see the biodiversity in our first visit, it's there. And once you build that relationship with the desert and able to experience you and everybody that I have talked, started developing this really deep appreciation for it for sure.
