But there can be something like an insubstantial substance or whatever Graham would want to use for it. He says that if you leave out that self-recurrence, then it would be appropriate to say, okay, you're undermining the object. This notion of matter being pedatic and indeterminate as you're stressing isn't random, right? Greene: There is this sort of emergence of order out of the indeterminacy. So all of nature is affecting itself and in effecting itself, shapes itself and comes to know itself.
