The Importance of Public History
Public history, ironically, is something a lot of people in the public don't know what it is. What I do is museum work. My career has been spent working in museums. In fact, before I became a university professor, I had worked in museums. As a public historian, I want to engage people, ordinary people, not historians, with history.
