The coalition have at least one member crossing the floor. They've ruled themselves out of this significant negotiation on the climate target. The best they seemed to be able to muster was reviving the fantasy of nuclear power in australia. Dutton announced yet another review into nuclear energy by his shadow minister, ted o'brien. Some in the party room were positively thrilled with this. But if the coalition intends to use a review intonuclear energy as their alibi for an inadequate response to global warming, it's not a convincing one.
