Is Jeremy Newfeld a Minor Figure Among Economists?

CNN's John Sutter says he was surprised by some of the reaction to his comments on Karl Marx. He points out that Newfeld is a relatively minor figure among economists right now. But yet Phil kept saying, oh, this guy, he's just cherry picking the data, you know, he’s just picking authors or whatever. And I said, so when you see what you actually said, and then when you consider what jete hears, James Joyce, Annock Doder, factoid, is, then all of a sudden it's not so moronic," Sutter writes.
