Synthesizers Are the Most Important Mind in Our Time
Howard: I've looked back into my correspondence and even 40 years ago i always was referring to the fact that i was a synthesizer so the word is not unfurmitted to me. 20 years ago i wrote a book called five minds for the future and in that book i described five kinds of minds three of them were cognitive thinking one was disciplined one was synthesizing and one was creating. Howard: You can't simulate synthesizing in the laboratory we psychologists say well i'm interested in memory so i'm going to give you 20 words to remember and i'll come back tomorrow and say how many you can remember or um we're just doing spatial thinking so i's going to give
