The Argument for Discrimination on the Basis of Race
David Frum: There's a misunderstanding around the 14th amendment that it's not about not discriminating on the basis of race. He says affirmative action is trying to erase the incidences of slavery and other types of discrimination. Frum: I disagree with Patrick Strawbridge, who thinks you could have a program specifically intended to benefit descendants of American slaves.
