Climate Change and Emerging Pathogens
This has been an absolutely beyond insane summer from the climate meteorology point of view. I think for the next few years, we're going to see completely ridiculous records being broken in all kind of parts of the world. 70% of this planet is basically a massive thermal buffer, which I think we're pretty much about to fill up. The consequences are dramatic in terms of migration, access to drinkable water, just heat, death - particularly for elderly people. We need to decarbonize as much as humanly possible as quickly as humans can possibly do it.
