What's the Difference Between an Accident and an Autopsy?
In 1924, an autopsy would not have been automatic. If there were any question of something being suspicious about a particular death, they would have carried out an autopsy. This case really does come down to how do you prove when someone has clearly died from blunt force trauma? How do we prove whether it was an accident or whether it was murder? That's what this comes down to.
