Is Bitcoin Really Freeing You From the Exit Tax?
The United States has what is called the territorial taxation system, right? One of the few advanced economies that does have it. So in order to liberate yourself from that tax game, you actually have to renounce your citizenship at some point. And even then, I'm pretty sure the US has the exit tax on anyone with above a $2 million net worth. Even to exit. It's truly crazy if you break it down to say I'm not okay with you stealing from me and I want to move to another jurisdiction,. You are being subjected to the theft of the exit tax.
