Stoicism and modern Stoicism are two separate things, says John Sutter. Most people who listen to this show don't understand the nuance difference between them, he says. Many self-styled "stoics" have done great work raising awareness that Stoicism is a capital S thing,. But when you read many of these authors, you rarely see any discussion of Stoic logic or especially Stoic physics.
