The Risks and Benefits of Intervening

If it's not blatantly obvious, I would focus on the things that are likely to be obvious. We don't know long term what changing someone's biomechanics does to their performance. What we're playing with here is a risk of potentially worsening someone's performance if they don't adapt or if we don't get it right. So that's why when we make that decision, even as runners, we've really got to weigh up is the risk that's before me worth the potential reward?
