The 1975 Icelandic Women's Strike

75 000 women in Iceland went on a general strike which i think was called the women's day off. There were no women at their jobs and they refused to take care of kids so that all the men had to take the kids to work. The funniest bit about this for me is this statistic that apparently like they ran out of sausages in all of the shops because the men thought well sausages that's the quickest way to feed kids.
