The Importance of Taking Comic Book Movies Seriously
Brian Singer says he takes his x-men films very seriously. He believes fans should get the exact same feeling and experience out of living the movie as they did reading the book or playing a video game. The first question in an audience's mind that they really want answered is "Who is wolverine?" Says it was important for him to take those characters seriously because other big screenwriters had come in before him, but didn't care about them.
