Ruta's Refusal to Budge on Migration Is What Brought the Government Down
The Dutch government of Prime Minister Marcuta collapsed on July 7th. They all cited irreconcilable differences over migration, which has been an ongoing problem in Dutch politics. Ruta himself has been pretty hard-line on immigration, but he seized his right several parties that want an even more hard-line migration policy across Europe. But now his government will be a caretaker until November 22nd - the date we have for this next election.
