Sharon "Rocky" Roggio, an independent filmmaker, production designer and now director for her new project 1946 The Movie, sits down with Tim about the project and where it originated. Rocky, explains her background as a pastor's daughter in a non-denominational Evangelical church that was not LGBT+ affirming and how being gay in that environment was very harmful for her. Working in the film industry, Rocky's experience and her own sexual identity eventually coincided in the project 1946 The Movie. Tim and Rocky discuss how she immersed herself in research after going to one after another of seemingly affirming churches, but then discovering they were not in fact affirming of LGBT+ members at all. Rocky, explains how the project came to her, and how the writers of the book the project is based on did meticulous research on how the term "homosexual" came to be in the English translations of the Bible. Tim and Rocky then discuss how long it took to film and edit the movie for release and when the film is slated to be finished.
