The Mystical Adoption
In baptism, it begins receiving the life of god. The lord himself uses the analogy of the vine and the branches. I'm the vine, you are the branches. It helps us to clarify what happens in this mystical adoption. We're adopted to the trinityh and it's the spirit of the sun that comes to dwell in our spirit. If i could take the very spirit of jesus christ and put it in you, you would live the life ofjesus christ.
