Are Ethics Boards a Good Idea for Early Stage Companies?

Ethics advisory boards are more common in the medical industry for very obvious reasons. For a company thate's only 12 people to put that much effort into it, i guess it shows they're really serious. The first generation of big tech made real mistakes about how they approached their responsibility towards the social impact of their technology and their business model. And this new generation of companies really wants to avoid those mistakes and make sure that they're thinking about the impact on society from day one.
