Moroccan team unfurled Palestinian flag on pitch to outpouring of support from people across the Arab world. I think it's been a display of unity unlike anything we've seen in 11 or 12 years since the beginning of the Arab Spring, says Al-Shaarabani. It was also a reminder of the way the Palestinian cause continues to animate and continue to play a central role in Arab identity. And so they've given Arabs across the region something to cheer and give them perhaps a newer sort of more updated vision of what Pan-Arabism means in the 21st century.
