Younger and younger kids are wearing glasses because parents imagine that iPads make good babysitters. The cause then is primarily the parents giving the kid an iPad or phone as a babysitter, which is dramatically a terrible idea. "I get emails from parents every single day going, what's up with my five year old?" he says.
