The Importance of Public Writing in Politics
CPR is not necessarily or a think tank but its purpose is to engage in the process of policy making. Its purpose is contributing to a particular kind of imagination of the public and the role that the that the state plays in that public. Public writing is part of that process it's also just a disciplinary tool, says Pratap Choudhury. "You cannot confuse public policy engagement with op-ed writing," he adds.
