The Problem of Capitalism and the Core Periphery Issue
I think these are all different meanings of cannibalization, and they, to me, I was looking for a catchy metaphor that would condense into a neat image. People's and territories that are outside the official core monetized zones,. relatively speaking are, you know, intellectually drawn into its snare's. And then basically fuses with it or something like that. That struck me as interesting for thinking about the world system and the whole core periphery issue and how right this is.
