I like the idea that you start a story with a kind of a cartoonish view of somebody, sometimes even a negative view. There's a woman named Brenda who's kind of that person at work that everyone avoids because once she starts talking, she doesn't stop. So the process of writing over Minumones is to get to know her so well that you go from mockery to love or identification with her. Then there's two other characters and I tried to do the same thing. The contradiction is the point. That sort of state of judgment-free mind that you have for just a couple of seconds after a good story.
