The Importance of Denormalization at the Relational Database Side

At flip, we ended up doing the outbox pattern. We would do denormalization at the database table side. Most store merchants don't change their name. Most store locations don't physically move. But maybe it'll be okay to have a separate stream for those changes. Right? So we could have a lot of data on that intrinsically, but in hindsight, we could also look at it and say, yeah, I can see why we would probably denormalize these things given what we know about our business domain.
